#2 BAFS LOVES: ESPADRILLAS

Canvas upper and sole rope, colorful patterns and comfort assured. Originating in the Basque region between the Pyrenees, low cost always, now also luxury. 

Espadrilles.
I adore them.
By the peasants to Cary Grant, by fishermen to Grace Kelly, all - or almost - have become bewitched by poor shoe for excellence and I, before this new season, I never loved. To date, however, their charm me completely over run, wanting to buy compulsively at this moment. So many, in many colors. Preferring the striped ones instead of the ones with the flowers, lace to paillettes application, the solid to polka dots, preferring the flat to wedge.
Surely no tapes, maybe in ballerina version.
What I like?
Those designer Emilio Pucci, definitely.
In order not to betray their essence, and my wallet - but especially their essence ;) - I'll find the stalls of the market town on Thursday morning, possibly by H&M.

Now to you: and the man?
I say yes, absolutely.

Tomaia in tela e suola in corda, fantasie colorate e comodità assicurata. Originarie della zona basca fra i Pirenei, low cost da sempre, oggi anche luxury. Espadrillas.

Io le adoro.

Dai contadini a Cary Grant, dai pescatori a Grace Kelly, tutti – o quasi – si sono fatti ammaliare dalla calzatura povera per eccellenza e io, prima di questa nuova stagione, non le ho mai amate. Ad oggi però, il loro fascino mi ha completamente invasa, desiderando di comprarle compulsivamente in questo istante. Tante, in tanti colori. Preferendo quelle a righe a quelle con i fiori, il pizzo alle applicazioni di paillettes, la tinta unita ai pois, preferendole flat alla zeppa.

Sicuramente senza nastri, magari in versione ballerina.

Quali mi piacciono?

Quelle firmate Emilio Pucci, sicuramente.

Per non tradire la loro essenza, e il mio portafoglio – ma soprattutto la loro essenza ;) – mi troverete tra le bancarelle del mercato del giovedì mattino, magari da H&M.

Io dico si, assolutamente.
